In Memory of Frank Dileo

Well,  everybody in the band has been in Nashville collectively over 10 years and have been blessed to meet some great people through the years that have been guiding lights and have believed in us.  Yesterday, I received some news that we lost one of those folks. His name was Frank Dileo. For those of you who didn't know Frank I'm going to take a second to tell you about him. My first experience of Frank was at a club in Nashville called 12th and Porter.

What's up everyone? Well, I'm laying in my hotel room at the Hyatt in Wichita this morning. Yes, I said the Hyatt. Sometimes we get lucky and get a nice room that doesn't have wheels under it!! Anyways, back to my blog. Well, here's the deal. We are on the road so much we get a little bored riding around so we come up with ways to have a laugh and make the time pass by a little faster. With that being said, we have come up with the best game since Monopoly! We’re calling it Kovert Karaoke!!!

Here's how it works.
STEP 1: You get your iPod and pick out a song.

Well, we just played a couple shows out west. We played the Rodeo Club in San Jose for KRTY with Ty Stone and Kip Moore.  It was a great weekend cuz the folks at the show were great.

The Last 4 Days

Well, it's 6:30am in Las Vegas Thursday morning and I should be sleeping but I can't cause my body is still on Nashville time. Oh well! 


Anyways, for us the last 4 days have been great. We flew out to Riverside California Sunday as a band which was an event in itself. It was the whole crew, not just the band, all 8 of us. Levi and Steve were making their first trip to the golden state. Funny thing is Steve hates flying, so we just loaded him up with bunch of drink tickets and he did fine. Jeremy, Nick and Snake loaded up as well, they were so freaking loud it was funny!!

Hey Everybody,

Just want wish you all a Happy Memorial Day!! We also want to thank all of our troops, past and present, out there who are putting their ass on the line so we can get up every morning and do what we want to do!! Freedom, Baby!!!!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Y'all be safe and come home soon. Well, this memorial day is gonna rock, we are getting to play with Charlie Daniels today!! I hope y'all are enjoying your holiday as much as we are. God Bless.
