Geaux Tigers!

on September 21, 2011 - 2:38pm

Hey there folks,

Well, as you hopefully know last week our debut CD This Is My Blood hit stores nationwide. I can't tell you how excited we are about this. Personally I can remember going to record stores back home in LA picking up CD's and hoping I could play on a real record one day. Well, not only has that come true, but I also wrote some of the songs on it. I am truly blessed. It's been a long road and I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for my parents instilling the drive and ambition in me to never give up on anything.  Thanks Mom and Dad.

Nick Battles the "New Artist 15"

on August 19, 2011 - 3:04pm

Hey there everybody,

The last two weeks for me have been pretty tough! Why? Well, I've been on a DIET that’s why!!! I've gained 15 pounds since January. You know how they say when you go to college you get the "freshman 15," well, in the music business when you go on your radio tour you get the "new artist 15!" This is why.....

All you do is travel around the country and hit up one to two country radio stations a day and play some acoustic songs for them. After that, you go out to eat every night with whoever is in charge of that certain station you visited that day and stuff your face.

Guess what, the AC is out again!

What's up everybody, Nick here. I'm writing this blog as we are headed to Iowa for some shows this weekend and it is burning up outside and inside our RV!!!! The RV doesn't really have that great of an AC unit. Actually to be honest, it sucks! If anyone reading this has a lot of money and wants to help us out , we could really use a bus about now!  Anyway, having no AC aside, I'm just excited to be out playing shows. It's what this band is all about. We are living the dream as they say!

This week I had a few "firsts".  I just had my first demo session as a writer for Warner Chapel and

Dallas Ice Driving!

on February 7, 2011 - 3:45pm

Just a quick update from the road... the radio tour is going great!!  It was a crazy week though being caught in all this weather.  Last week we started in Tulsa and ended on Friday in Baton Rouge.  The band got stuck in Dallas on Tuesday and it took us two hours just to get out of the city, there was ice and snow everywhere... check out the video from Jeremy’s phone!  We saw at least six cars run off the road right in front of us.  We were so lucky we got out of there without wrecking.  We made it out of Texas a few days later and drove into Louisiana and the weather showed up again!
