I'm currently working on my 15th go around at the tender age of 29. Each year I get a little better at it. I love tequila, loud live music, and just hanging out with musically creative people. I'm known as a bit of a musicologist, and a bit of a party monster, but I also have raised my kids, done my job, and now life is 100% on my terms. It don't get better than that! The Dirt Drifters came into my life back in 2008 (?) and played the little bar I was booking for. That's all it took to know these guys will forever be one of the most talented acts I've ever heard/seen. I spend a lot of time spreading the word, giving blood, etc, because I really believe in this act. They are not "old style country", "twangy" , or "poppy" - they are good honest blue collar country rock, the way it was done when Alabama was charting, and the way Mellencamp showed us blue collar after Springsteen opened that door. They are country. They are rock. They are, beyond anything, amazing music.
