Fun in the summer sun!

Hello everyone Matt here,

Well, its summer time already and the AC in the RV has decided to sit this one out!! We just got back from TX and OK on what we will call the “Hot Box Tour” and all of us are much slimmer than before! The AC should be working by next week when we hit the road again to Iowa (I hope).

We should be finishing the mixes of the album within the next two weeks, which means we will be getting the music to the label very soon. From there they will start getting music to radio. We are also working to redesign our website a bit over the next few weeks, so let us know what you think. I just saw some cool bands on our gig with Randy Rogers last week, go check them out...SONS OF BILL and JASON ISBELL AND THE 400 UNIT. We also just landed some gigs with JAMEY JOHNSON and DIERKS in August which should be cool.

On the personal side, I won $100 bucks in Miami, OK on some slot machines!!! I then invested in a three-foot by twelve-foot swimming pool for my son Wyatt, he loves it!!! To be honest I do too. If anyone is in East Nashville over the summer and needs to cool off with a Coors Light and and a kiddy pool...go buy your own! ☺

I was at the Dierks show in Council Bluffs Iowa-
I loved you guys! I really loved the song Hurt Somebody-
I've been humming it for weeks but I cant find it anywhere on the internet!

Fantastic Iowa show!

Just wanted to say I caught your show at the Wildwood in Iowa City. You guys are fantastic! Love the voices, love the music, love the energy. Your enthusiasm is contagious. I would have been more than willing to listen to you guys play the entire night, so the extra 45 minutes - heaven!
Can't wait until your album comes out this fall!
Now you need to book some more dates in Eastern Iowa!

I just wanted to let you guys know that you were awesome at Texas in the For the Sake of the Song Festival! I was already a Dirt Drifters fan and I have told so many people about you guys since I seen you in Little Rock, Arkansas when you guys opened for Stoney Larue! You opened the show saying that nobody knew who you were but there were some of us out there that did! I was right on the front row singing along! I was so happy that I made the trip to Texas from Arkansas! Just wanted to give you guys a pat on the back! Great job! I love your music and can't wait for the album to come out! Thanks for making great music!
