Well, it's a new week!! It's Tuesday after CRS and for those that don't know what it is, I'll explain. It's a week-long event where every radio programmer and journalist from large markets to small markets come to town for seminars, live shows and DRINKING!!! So it's a long week for everyone. Warner Bros. Records put on a show called “Motown Throwdown” where almost every artist on the label played a song of theirs and a Motown song. We played the Barrett Strong song, “Money (That’s What I Want)" which was killer. We’re even thinking of working it into our regular set! As the night went on we were asked to get back up on stage, so we went back up and played about every cover song we knew. We played "Ain't Living Long" to "Glory Days," even had the head of the label come up to sing some Springsteen with us!!! The rest of the week was spent doing interviews, chatting, watching shows and hanging with all the folks we've been meeting at radio. So in closing I'll say this, I had a blast but I'm glad it's over!!! I'm freaking tired!
Later, Ryan
