Hey everyone, what's up?! It's been a while since I've written so I'm gonna catch y'all up. Well, we left for the West coast a few days ago and we've already had a blast. Our first gig was in Tucson, Arizona with Dwight Yoakam so we had a couple day drive to get there from Nashville so that means lots of movies. I've watched some James Bond movies, Wall Street, The Town, started watching Harry Potter, and watched about 20 minutes of a Jim Carey movie where he started making out with some dude so I had to turn it off!! Anyways, back to Dwight. The first song that Matt and I ever sang on stage was a Dwight and Buck Owen tune called "Streets of Bakersfield" so it was just one of those nights you dream about when you pick up a guitar as a kid! The crowd was great and really loud and ready to rock. We gave away 1,600 CDs of the “give blood” campaign that night! On that subject I just want to say thank you to all of you for spreading the word of our music. It means everything to us! Now back to Dwight, holy sh*t what a freaking artist! He is the man. Me and the guys watched the whole show from backstage like little kids. He played for almost 2 hours and played freaking hit after hit. It rocked! Well, we still have a couple weeks left on the west coast so y'all stay tuned for more blogs! See y'all Soon!

P.S. Check out a few photos from the run so far!

Went to the Tucson show not knowing anything about the Dirt Drifters. These guys rocked. Great show all the way around. Reminds me a little of Skynyrd when they first started out.
